Biography
Jonathan Mitchell is a Senior Managing Director with B. Riley Securities responsible for leading the SPAC investment banking practice. He has 20 years of experience in SPACs.
Mr. Mitchell has received SPAC Investment Bank of the Year Award from M&A Atlas in 2021.
Prior to B. Riley, He held positions managing SPAC dedicated hedge funds investing in more than 200 SPACs, including 35 SPACs serving as a member of the sponsor. He played a critical role in the evaluations, analysis and selection of these investments at MK Capital Advisors as a Managing Director, Cullen Investments as an Equities Manager, and Pacific Capital Partners as Founder and CEO. He began his career at JP Morgan.
Mr. Mitchell previously served on the Advisory Board for Lepe
Partners LLP, GSV Capital and was a public company board of director for a
Nasdaq-listed SPAC.
